Reviews from our mediation students
Posted on Google Eric CTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The Foundation Family Mediation course is very strong and enjoyable. Well structured both on the online part and the actual class. Our trainer was extremely competent and knowledgeable. The number of hands-on exercises and mock mediations, followed by feedback from the trainer and our co-students, was extremely useful for progress and self-reflection. The assessments following the course helped us further to understand our responsibilities and get prepared to start our professional activities. I highly recommend Veritas Mediation Academy to get the necessary skills to become an effective mediator. If you are ready to put in the time and effort, you will get an enormous amount out of the course.Posted on Google Pauline DTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I really appreciated the time that Stuart from Veritas Mediation gave me while I was exploring family mediation training. What stood out was his integrity. Rather than trying to persuade me to sign up, he helped me work out whether it was the right next step for me. I came away with a real sense of the care and thought Stuart brings to his work, and I'd highly recommend speaking with him if you're considering family mediation.Posted on Google Joe STrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Veritas Mediation Academy excels in creating innovative and dynamic learning processes, which are far superior to traditional classroom learning methods. The variety in resource formats, learning and practice methods, peer learning and continuous staff support creates an environment which builds up your mediation skills, knowledge, understanding, and confidence in parallel. The support they offer after completion of the course has helped me find work in family mediation and I simply cannot recommend the course enough.Posted on Google Ami RTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently completed the Foundation Course in Family Mediation and found it to be an excellent learning experience. The course was highly interactive, with plenty of opportunities for practical exercises and role plays, which were invaluable in helping me build confidence and gain hands-on experience in mediation skills. The course lead Stuart was extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and supportive throughout the course. He was always willing to answer questions, provide guidance, and ensure that everyone understood the material. His encouragement, patience, and expertise created a positive and engaging learning environment that made learning both enjoyable and rewarding. The group dynamic also added greatly to the experience. All of the students were supportive, encouraging, and respectful towards one another, creating a safe and collaborative atmosphere in which everyone felt comfortable participating, practising new skills, and learning from each other's experiences. The contributions from the supporting mediators and other professionals involved in delivering parts of the course were also greatly appreciated. Their insights, experience, and willingness to share their knowledge added real depth to the learning and provided valuable perspectives on mediation practice. I would highly recommend this course to anyone considering a career or further training in family mediation. It provided a strong foundation of knowledge, practical skills, and confidence to move forward in the field. Thank you for delivering such a well-structured, informative, and inspiring course. I have come away with a much greater understanding of family mediation and feel far better equipped to develop my skills further in this area. The support from the tutor and the wider team of mediators and professionals involved in the course made this a particularly valuable and enjoyable learning experience. AminaPosted on Google Jeremy LTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. As an experienced mediator in other areas, looking to qualify in Family Mediation, I was delighted by the Veritas Academy’s Foundation Course. The tuition was delivered by qualified and experienced practitioners, who were accomplished presenters. Material was thorough and all sessions engaging. The assignments to complete the course were rigorous. I believe that graduates leave with a good grounding in family mediation theory and would be safe (as I have done) to take practice further. I enjoyed the learning, the challenges, the role-plays and interaction. While there is some overlap in skills and theory, Family mediation is sufficiently different in key areas and skills from other fields of mediation to make the course distinct, rather than a duplication of materials covered elsewhere. I have found the professionals from this course to have been up-front about the challenges in completing the “Portfolio” – as “working towards accreditation” graduates gain and record their experience. Our cohort has become a supportive team, and join with other graduates in other Veritas projects, webinars, CPD etc – building upon Stuart’s excellent introductions. I commend this foundation course most highly.Posted on Google Maria JTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I genuinely found the Family Mediation Course with Veritas to be a really rewarding experience. From the start, it felt engaging rather than overwhelming, which isn’t always easy with this kind of subject matter. The sessions were not only informative but also surprisingly entertaining, which made it much easier to stay focused and actually enjoy the learning process. What stood out most to me was the quality of the tutors. They explained concepts clearly and in a way that felt practical and relatable, not just theoretical. Whenever I had questions, they were approachable and more than willing to help, which created a supportive and encouraging atmosphere throughout the course. Overall, it felt like a well-balanced program that combines professionalism with a human touch. I came away feeling more confident and genuinely interested in applying what I learned.Posted on Google Hannah GTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I attended the mediation course and really enjoyed it. The practical exercises stood out the most to me — they kept me involved and helped everything feel real. I left each session feelig confident, with tools I now use in work and everyday life.Posted on Google Katy HTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I joined the free introduction to family mediation course and really enjoyed it. It was interesting, easy to follow, and gave a great overview of what mediation is and how it works. It’s definitely made me think seriously about training as a mediator.Posted on Google XH OTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I took the foundation training course for family mediation, and I found it very helpful. The training covered plenty of exercises and roleplays, giving us lots of opportunities to get used to a mediation environment, albeit a simulated one. The trainers Stuart and Lesley were also incredibly knowledgeable and facilitative, supporting us throughout the journey without being too handholding. Classes are conducted online, with international students accepted.Posted on Google Parvin ATrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I completed the free introductory course on family mediation and it was really good. By the end of the online course, I had a much better understanding of the role of a mediator.
